The Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) offer beautiful and unique spaces that are ideal for wedding receptions or any other special occasion.
Please note wedding ceremonies must be held off-site. The Gallery can recommend suitable venues within the cultural precinct or the surrounding area for your ceremony.
Roof Terrace
The Roof Terrace, located on level 4 of the Gallery of Modern Art, boasts panoramic views of the city skyline, Brisbane River and Kurilpa Bridge.
This unique open-air venue with its large roof takes full advantage of the beautiful Queensland climate making it the perfect venue for exclusive breakfasts, lunches, cocktail events, formal dinners, and wedding receptions.

Sculpture Courtyard
The Sculpture Courtyard provides an exquisite alfresco entertaining experience and can accommodate 120 standing.
With two levels of manicured lawn, a drop fountain, stunning Dandelion water feature and impressive sculpture works by renowned Australian and international artists, this makes a stunning backdrop for a cocktail event.
A sweeping glass structure surrounds this beautiful space and allows guests to view into the Sculpture Gallery.
