Riddel Architecture
Riddel Architecture was established in 1982 by Robert Riddel. The practice is concerned with identifying a regional basis for its work, which is often founded on research into local cultural traditions and heritage. The firm has built a reputation for innovative modern design that can be comfortably situated within the context of Queensland’s changing environmental and cultural settings. Robert Riddel is also an active architectural historian, currently completing a PhD on the architectural practice of RS (Robin) Dods, a significant Australian architect who practised in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century in Brisbane and Sydney.
